La Familia Latina from SUNY Cortland is hosting the 1st Annual Dance-A-Thon on January 30th in the Function Room at Corey Union on the SUNY Cortland Campus. The Dance-A-Thon will start at 7 PM and last until 7 AM.
Mission: To raise money for the children of Honduras.Proceeds will be forwarded to Hogar de las Hermanas de la Caridad and Hospicio Amparo, two orphanages in Honduras in dire need of our help
Cost: $3.00 Students $4.00 Non-Students $5.00 Faculty
Music will range from SALSA, BACHATA, REGGAETON, HIP HOP AND MORE!!
WINNERS of the Dance-A-Thon will take home an iPod Nano or iPod chromatic.
Refreshments will be provided throughout the Dance-A-Thon.
There will also be a special performance from S.M.A.C Inc. (Salsa Music Appreciation Club) who will instruct a Salsa at the commencement of the Dance A Thon.

8:00 pm – Presentation of OUR CAUSE
8:15 pm – Dance A Thon Begins
9:10 pm – SMAC Performance
10:00 pm – PIZZA AND MORE DONATION PIES

12:30 am – Coffee and cookies
4:30 am – Bagels and coffee
7:00 am – PRIZES AWARDED
CONTESTS THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT TO WIN PRIZES!!

If you want to take The Weekend Escape Bus home this weekend!
Please come into the SGA Office in room 217 Corey Union.
Tickets are on sale!!!.
The bus will be leaving January 30, 2009.
