no-tiger.jpg God people love a conspiracy! It was made public late last night that Tiger Woods is undergoing athroscopic knee surgery just a few days after he finished runner-up to some South Africian guy we all have never heard of (sorry, Trevor Immelman)! Now, some people are speculating that IF Tiger were to be in perfect health during the Master’s, then he would have easily beat the South African dude (again, sorry Trevor). PEOPLE!! Tiger was hurt, he lost, the no-name won!!! Get over it Augusta oldies!!! :P Click below for the full, but tiny, report.

ps- I heard on ESPN’s PTI today that Detroit Tigers (i guess i’m in a Tiger mood today! :) ) skipper, Jim Leyland, has playing Augusta on his “Things to Do Before I Die List.” It makes me think, what would I put on my list???

Tiger Woods ruled out for up to six weeks after knee surgery

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Tiger Woods is expected to be sidelined for between four and six weeks after having arthroscopic surgery on his left knee in Park City, Utah on Tuesday. The world number one and 13-times major winner, runner-up behind South African Trevor Immelman at the U.S. Masters on Sunday, has had two previous operations on the same knee.

One Response to “Tiger Down”

  1. Philip says:

I find those situations funny - the ones where the player is injured and loses. Then the media speculates and over talks about it… (espn) But injury is a part of sports… whenever an athlete competes physically he/she is taking a risk with his/her body. So people aren’t always 100% and that should be expected. The credibility and flare of Trevor Immelman’s victory is tainted by constant what if’s? Perhaps Trevor Immelman wasn’t 100% either, but who cares right? Tiger is the marketable topic of conversation to keep people watching…
