See what trash talking can do in horseracing! Probably the biggest threat to axing Big Brown’s Triple Crown dreams was Casino Drive. Casino Drive was the horse with the Japanese owners that did more trash talking than a prized fighter at a boxing rally! Well, the Casino Drive rally cries came back to bite them in the ass … literally.
On this day the seventh of June, the running of the Belmont Stakes will take place. And, Casino Drive has officially backed out. Earlier yesterday it was reported that the horse had a left hind leg injury, but he would recover. In fact late last night it was reported that he made great strides in practice runs and will run the Belmont.
But ESPN.com reports today that CASINO DRIVE WILL NOT RUN IN THE BELMONT!
Therefore, expect Big Brown to be a part of history and win the Belmont to win the 2008 Triple Crown.
