NetID - Starting July 21, 2008

NEW STUDENTS: Your NetID username is:firstname.yourlastname
FOR CONTINUING-RETURNING CORTLAND STUDENTS:

Please make note. Starting July 21, 2008, you will need your NetID username to gain access to webmail and any computers in our labs on campus. In the past, your NetID was your C#, now your NetID will be , in most cases, firstname.lastname , if you would like to see your NetID please log into https://bannerweb.cortland.edu and view the message. Your password will not change, nor will your email address

FOR FACULTY:

Your NetID will not be changing.
What is my NetID for?

A NetID is your online identity at SUNY Cortland, and will enable you to access most online resources at SUNY Cortland. You will need your NetID to logon to computers in any of our labs on campus, webmail, eLearning (webct), and BannerWeb (coming soon).

* Security of your NetID is YOUR responsibility, do not share it with anyone! If you think your NetID has been compromised, or if your NetID is not functioning properly, please call the Technology Help Center at 607-753-2500.
