<p>The  New York State Library and the New York Public Library can help you with your  research.  A card can get you access to thousands of articles from your home or  office, saving you time and gas.</p>
<p>Databases  available:  Project Muse, AnthroSource, Sanborn Maps, Proquest  Historical Newspapers (including the New York Times), Civil War:  A Newspaper  Perspective, and more.  Check <a href="http://www.nysl.nysed.gov/gate/remotedb.htm" title="http://www.nysl.nysed.gov/gate/remotedb.htm">here</a> for a list of  databases, and <a href="http://ty7zv9nn5c.search.serialssolutions.com/" title="http://ty7zv9nn5c.search.serialssolutions.com/">here</a> for a list of  journals.</p>

<p><em>Let’s Talk About It </em>will be back in the fall with more book discussions on Jewish literature. This year we will be looking at <em>Modern Marvels,</em> a series of graphic novels, including <em>A Contract With God</em> by Will Eisner; <em>The Complete Maus: A Survivor’s Tale </em>by Art Spiegelman; <em>Julius Knipl, Real Estate Photographer: Stories </em>by Ben Katchor; <em>The Quitter </em>by Harvey Pekar; <em>The Rabbi’s Cat </em>by Joann Sfar. Once again, sessions will be conducted by Nicky Morris of the English Department and held in the Reading Area of the Teaching Materials Center at Memorial Library. Projected dates for the discussions are: August 27, 2008, September 24, 2008, October 15, 2008, November 12, 2008 and December 3, 2008; all at 7:00 P.M. Refreshments will be served. Please join us!</p>
