Let students use their laptops or cell phone to respond with the more innovative classroom responses systems like Poll Everywhere (polleverywhere.com). Your university would still pay the costs of the technology (far less expensive overall) and students pay nothing (or some text messaging fees if they decide to use text messaging to respond but most students already have texting plans).</description>
