Filed under: Administrative Computing, BannerWeb, New Services, myRedDragon — Josh Peluso @ August 21st, 2008

A NetID is your online identity at SUNY Cortland.  Your NetID will gain you access to most online resources at SUNY cortland.  You will need your NetID to logon to lab machines, webmail, webct and bannerweb.  Webmail, webct and bannerweb are now all accesible through one login – the myRedDragon portal  ( http://myreddragon.cortland.edu

FOR ALL STUDENTS:

Starting Auguest 20, 2008, your NetID will gain you access to bannerweb, webct and email, you will now have a single username and password to access all campus resources.

Students no longer use their C # and their username when signing on to both Webmail and their NetID. It is now their firstname.lastname  If any students are trying to log on, and they receive an error message that their password is no longer valid, they should try, for example:

Username: sherry.ellis
Password: theirusualpassword (if this doesn’t work, try using your last name and the last four digits of your C# – example: ellis9999)

*Security of your NetID is your responsibility, never share it with anyone, if you think your NetID have been compromised or if you continue to have problems logging in, please contact the technology helpcenter.
