Off campus access to databases at schools/work places.

Filed under: Library, Tech Tips — Jennifer Hoover @ September 5th, 2007

If you are trying to use the Library databases from off campus from your school/school district or work place, you may be blocked if your school/work place has restrictions on Internet use. Two common Internet errors are:* 404 Errors (Page not Found)* “Server not Found or DNS Error”You may want to check with your school/school district/work place technology staff about the use of a proxy server.
