Use of Computer Labs and Technology Classrooms for Non-Curricular Purposes

Filed under: Academic Computing, Classroom Media Services, Policies — Information Resources @ April 30th, 2006

Ordinarily Information Resources technology facilities are restricted to the functions for which they are intended: use by SUNY Cortland faculty and students. On occasion, these classrooms may be used for purposes related to the broader mission of SUNY Cortland, that of providing educational resources for community support.

Use of these resources requires approval of the appropriate department head and of the Associate Provost for Information Resources. To recover costs, the following charges will be in effect for use of these facilities.

  • Computing Labs: $250 per session, up to a half-day (Account #900835)
  • Distance Learning Classroom: $250 per session, up to a half-day (Account #900131) plus any telecommunication fees
  • Faculty Training Center: $250 per session up to a half-day (Account #900406)
